I am a narrative artist drawn to human stories and the passage of time. Through collage, painting, printmaking, and book arts, I explore my enduring fascination with relationships, symbols, and cultural artifacts, illuminating their enduring significance in our lives.

What We (Be)Hold

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego hosts an annual curated exhibition, and this year’s theme resonated deeply with me and the direction my art is taking.

I am pleased to say one of my newest cyanotypes has been accepted!

The exhibition will be on view at Artspace, the Art Council’s gallery, located in Lake Oswego City Hall.

Show dates: August 7th— October 30th
Where: 380 A Ave. Lake Oswego, OR.
Gallery hours: Tuesday- Friday, 10am– 5pm

Blackfish Gallery Director and founder of Common Ground Arts, Kendra Roberts, is the juror for this show.

Describing the theme, Roberts writes:

“What We (Be)Hold embraces the spirit of what holds our focused attention, wonder, admiration, or spiritual contemplation, as well as what we keep, retain, or clutch close… What are we (be)holding? What or who is holding our attention? To what or whom are we beholden? How do we hold ourselves? How do we hold one another?”
