Is she a secretary? A detective? A detective’s secretary who does the actual detecting?

One thing we do know is that she is a very busy person, who cannot be bothered with tidying up. Papers litter her desk, and a pile of folders crown the towering file cabinet by her side. In the foreground, a large figure looms. As he pauses in the doorway, Miss Darger glances up from her work. He may be using his size to impress her, or perhaps his masculine appeal to lure her. But by her expression, we can tell that although she may be interested, she is not taken in.

This is the first time I have assigned a specific name to one of my characters. Is this a new trend in my art? We’ll have to see what comes.
