This work of art is based on The Nebra Sky Disc, a beautiful and enigmatic artifact from the Nordic Bronze Age.
In this piece I have applied an 18 inch circular wood panel on a 24x24 inch panel, and depicted my interpretation of the artifact hovering over an imagined seascape, under a sky full of constellations.
