This piece a veritable layer cake of symbols and artistic impulses, a free-wheeling jazz riff on elements I gleaned while researching Tree Burial I and The Nebra Sky Disc. I played with multiple elements, including Scandinavian petroglyphs, mythological solar boats, modern plans of ancient sea vessels, plus symbols of infinity and life/death/rebirth.
